Essential local storage
afterdark_online_session keeps your signed-in session on this device. It is required for the service and is removed when you sign out or erase the account. Because browser storage is accessible to scripts running on this origin, AFT3R DARK treats a stricter HttpOnly-cookie session architecture as a launch security requirement.
Essential session storage
Short-lived invitation or connection details may be kept only in the current browser tab/session so a secret can be copied once. Closing the browser session clears this storage.
No advertising storage
No advertising pixels, behavioural-advertising identifiers, or cross-site analytics cookies are intentionally used. If optional analytics are introduced, they will remain off until a lawful consent choice and updated notice are available where required.
Your control
Signing out removes the saved application session. You can also clear site data in your browser, which signs you out but does not delete server-side account data. Use Settings → Privacy & your data to export or erase the account.
