1. Controller and contact
The controller is Rumble Fish Production Inc., operator of AFT3R DARK, 330 Wilshire Blvd, Santa Monica, CA 90401, United States. Company website: www.rumblefish.info. For access, correction, deletion, consent withdrawal, restriction, objection, portability, complaints, or questions, contact privacy@aft3rdark.com.
2. Data we process
- account identity, password hash, settings, sessions, and invitation records;
- the result and evidence reference of an adulthood check, without retaining the submitted date of birth;
- every message, generated response, scenario choice, lesson, mailbox item, relationship-guidance record, Red Letter, and consent state;
- preferences, boundaries, inferences, Intimacy Graph revisions, opaque preference-key inputs, recurring-character history, and compatibility requests;
- non-explicit AI-generated Polaroids of original fictional adults, together with the prompts, continuity information, job identifiers, and storage metadata required to create and display them;
- limited security, fault, request-deduplication, and audit information.
The current public release does not accept photograph uploads or offer likeness reproduction. Couples features keep private disclosures separate. A partner receives only content that you explicitly approve for sharing or neutral joint guidance that does not reveal its source.
3. Purposes and legal bases
Account operation, continuity, requested AI responses, couples features, exports, and settings are processed to perform the service you request. Security, fraud prevention, service integrity, fault diagnosis, and legal-claim records rely on the controller’s legitimate interests or legal obligations, subject to balancing and minimisation. Data concerning sex life or sexual orientation is processed under your explicit consent. You may withdraw it at any time; because that information is intrinsic to AFT3R DARK, withdrawal erases the account after private storage is removed.
4. AI, profiling, and human choice
Anastasia and fictional characters are AI. Minimised instructions and relevant context may be sent to xAI or OpenAI to provide requested text and fictional-Polaroid features. Those providers may apply their own safety systems under their terms. AFT3R DARK does not add a second model-based moderation pass to returned story text. The Intimacy Graph and preference key infer interests from what you say and choose. Graph entries are visible and revisable; key comparison returns an advisory percentage only. No solely automated decision produces legal or similarly significant effects.
5. Recipients and international transfers
Authorised AFT3R DARK personnel and providers receive only what is necessary for their role. Current categories and purposes are listed in the processor register. Some providers may process data outside the EEA. The controller must use an adequacy decision or appropriate safeguards such as approved Standard Contractual Clauses and assess supplementary safeguards before that transfer is relied upon.
6. Retention and deletion
Active-account conversations, preferences, and relationship records remain available for continuity until the account is erased. Expired sessions and operational logs are removed on defined schedules; failed temporary jobs have shorter schedules. Account erasure immediately restricts new processing, removes owned private storage objects, then deletes live database records. Minimal non-identifying erasure receipts and legally necessary security records may remain. Encrypted provider backups expire under controlled rotation and are not restored as active user data after an erasure.
7. Your rights
In Settings you can download a structured copy, request access or portability, request correction, restrict or object to processing, and erase the account. You may also contact the controller. Requests are answered without undue delay and normally within one month where GDPR applies. California requests are normally answered within 45 days and may be extended where the law permits. Identity may be verified before disclosure. Depending on where you live, you may complain to the competent privacy or data-protection authority.
8. California privacy
Information about sex life, sexual orientation, private communications, account credentials, and inferences may be sensitive personal information under California law. AFT3R DARK does not sell personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. Sensitive information is used only to provide the features you request, protect the service, comply with law, and support the rights described here. A California resident may use the signed-in privacy centre or contact privacy@aft3rdark.com to request access, correction, deletion, or limitation of sensitive-information use. Exercising a right will not result in unlawful discrimination.
9. Supporting privacy documents
- Processors and service providers — who supports the service and what their role is.
- Browser storage notice — the essential information kept on your device.
10. Reports, limited review, security, and changes
You can report an AI response or synthetic image from its conversation. A report creates a restricted compliance record containing the selected reason, your optional explanation, and identifiers for the reported item and conversation. Authorised personnel may review the reported material and the minimum surrounding context needed to investigate it, protect users, enforce the Terms, or comply with law. There is no routine human reading of private conversations for advertising or profiling.
Controls include hashed passwords and session tokens, restricted database schemas, encrypted transport, processing gates, audit events, and provider minimisation. No system is risk-free; report suspected incidents to privacy@aft3rdark.com. Material changes are versioned and presented for acknowledgment or renewed consent when required.
